Office of Advancement

Every Student, Every Time

Our mission can be summed up at the College of Coastal Georgia in two words—student success. That success is our passion and drive, but also our legacy. We pride ourselves on providing the big school feel with personal touches to make students feel like individuals and not just a number. We challenge and empower our students to be agents of change in a challenging and continually changing world. Our goal is to provide students with the tools to succeed once they graduate and venture into the future while reminding them that they will always be a part of the Mariner Family.

Scholarships

More than 85 percent of the students who attend Coastal Georgia receive some type of financial aid. This aid is funded through federal, state, outside scholarships and institutional scholarship funds. Coastal Georgia has many dedicated donors who continue to graciously fund our scholarships that enable us to assist hundreds of students with scholarship funds.

Athletics

The Athletics program’s mission is to promote and provide the opportunity for every student-athlete to develop into a person of character, achieve academic excellence, achieve athletic excellence as a team and as an individual competitor, and actively engage with their campus community and the broader Golden Isles community through athletic events as well as service and outreach activities. Funds raised are used to provide a significant margin of excellence to Mariner student-athletes and coaches.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN SUPPORTING THE COLLEGE OF COASTAL GEORGIA.
College of Coastal Georgia Foundation

Our Foundation Board of Trustees are committed to creating the conditions under which our students can study and thrive. For this academic year, the Foundation will award more than $700,000 in scholarship awards. In fact, more than 11 percent of all students will earn a scholarship at Coastal Georgia. Looking ahead, we aim to recognize our students with more than $1 million in scholarship awards each year – a worthy aspirational goal for an institution of our size and relative youth as a four-year college.

The College of Coastal Georgia Foundation, Inc. develops resources to support the College in providing quality education. The Foundation also serves as an advocate within the Coastal Georgia community and beyond to further the goals of the College.
