College Welcomes Mariners Home for Alumni Weekend 2025
The College of Coastal Georgia invites alumni, their families, and friends to return to campus for Alumni Weekend 2025, hosted by the Coastal Georgia Alumni Association.
Alumni Weekend will take place Oct. 24-25 on the Brunswick Campus and promises to be a weekend filled with celebration, connection, and Mariner pride. From homecoming activities and an athletic matchup to opportunities for fellowship and recognizing alumni who are making an impact, the weekend offers a chance to rekindle memories and create new ones.
“We’re so excited to welcome our alumni back to campus. Alumni Weekend celebrates all of our alumni, from our Brunswick College days until now,” said Sara Hunsinger-Brazell, chair of the Coastal Georgia Alumni Association. “It’s not only a reunion, but a time to recognize the legacy of the institution through the lives of alumni who are positively impacting their communities. Whether you’re reconnecting with classmates or exploring campus, this is the perfect time to come home.”
Alumni Weekend events include:
Salty’s Spooktacular Glow Run 5K
Friday, October 24
Check-in 5 p.m. Race starts at 6:30 p.m.
Location: Tennis courts, Brunswick campus
Come in your brightest glow gear or spookiest costume—run, walk, or stroll the course with your Coastal community.

Super Sonic Homecoming Tailgate
Saturday, October 25, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Student Activities Center lawn, Brunswick Campus
Enjoy food trucks, activity tables, student clubs, and games during this year’s Super Sonic Homecoming tailgate.
Scanning Day Event
Saturday, October 25, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Coastal Georgia Alumni Association tent near Coffin Gymnasium
Bring your campus photos to have them forever preserved in a digital format.
Mariner Men’s Basketball Game
Saturday, October 25, starting at 4 p.m.
Location: Coffin Gymnasium
Cost: Free
Cheer for Coastal Georgia as the Mariners take on Thomas University in the season opener. Homecoming crowning will take place during halftime.
College of Coastal Georgia Alumni Association Awards
Saturday, October 25, 6:30 p.m.
Location: Southeast Georgia Conference Center lobby
