Transfer Student Coffee Hour: Wednesday, Oct. 22, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Andrews Center. COMPASS advisors and financial aid counselors will also be in attendance.

“Transfer students bring unique perspectives, experiences, and strengths to our campus community,” said College of Coastal Georgia President Dr. Johnny L. Evans, Jr. “National Transfer Student Week is a great opportunity to celebrate their journey and reaffirm our commitment to supporting their academic success.”

The College has long been a destination for transfer students seeking affordable, high-quality education with personalized learning and support. With streamlined transfer pathways and dedicated advising, Coastal Georgia continues to make the transfer process smooth and student-centered.

“National Transfer Student Week allows us to celebrate our currently enrolled transfer students and to hang a big welcome sign out for students who may be considering transferring to Coastal,” said Dr. Jason Umfress, vice president for student affairs and enrollment management. “Transfer students are an important part of our community, and we want to make sure they know they belong here.”

Prospective transfer students can apply to the College for free during National Transfer Student Week with the code NTSW2025. They can also register for one-on-one pre-admission transfer advising through www.ccga.edu/visit.
