The Bachelor in Business Administration at Coastal Georgia is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in business competencies while stressing application in real-world work environments. The BBA degree combines foundational general education courses with a strong focus on business fundamentals.
Concentrations in General Business
Cyber Defense
The Cyber Defense concentration at Coastal is unique because it allows you to combine your interest in criminal justice and investigation with your talent in information technology.
Economics
The BBA with a concentration in Economics prepares students for a variety of careers by providing both theoretical and practical understanding of markets, and by developing the ability to think logically and critically about problems in business, government, or non-profit contexts.
Entrepreneurship
The concentration in Entrepreneurship focuses on the entrepreneurial process. Many students are interested in starting their own business. This concentration has as its goal the creation of a business plan that a student can implement upon graduation, if not sooner.
Finance
The concentration in Finance prepares graduates to succeed in entry level positions in finance in a variety of businesses as well as the public sector or the non-profit sector.
Financial Technologies
Financial Technology, or FinTech, encompasses all of the background operations that occur to make financial services quick, convenient, reliable, and secure. FinTech companies build and administer the data management systems that allow financial transactions to be initiated and completed.
Health Care Administration
The BBA in Healthcare Administration provides the opportunity for students to complete the BBA foundation while accompanying it with courses unique to the administration of healthcare entities.
Leadership
The Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Leadership prepares students to become more effective as they undertake leadership and followership roles within their careers and their lives as citizens.
Management
The business world is changing rapidly. That means there are more problems to solve. Coastal Georgia’s Management concentration teaches students how to solve these problems.
