Teaching and Research Interests / Recent Publications or Scholarly Output
My teaching and research interests center on educational leadership, school improvement, and teacher development, with a particular focus on social-emotional learning, school climate, and instructional leadership. My research examines the implementation and impact of schoolwide SEL initiatives – specifically Tier 1 programs – on student behavior, teacher efficacy, and organizational culture. I am currently completing an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, with a dissertation in practice evaluating the outcomes of a comprehensive SEL framework in an elementary school setting. My recent scholarly activities include qualitative data analysis, practitioner-focused research aligned with improvement goals, and ongoing collaboration with school and district leaders to translate research findings into actionable practice.
