As classes resume at Coastal Georgia this week, so does the athletic season. A 22-match volleyball tournament – the Mariner Invitational – starts the 2018-19 campaign. The Mariner Invitational takes place on Friday and Saturday at Coastal Georgia’s Coffin Gym and Brunswick High School’s auxiliary gymnasium.
Coastal Georgia plays four matches in the season-opening tournament, all of which will be at Coffin Gym.
General admission to the Mariner Invitational includes a two-day pass for $20, and a one-day pass for $10. Admission is free to Coastal Georgia students, faculty and staff with a valid college ID. Passes are valid at both venues. Only cash will be accepted at Brunswick High School.

About: The 2018 season officially gets underway during one of the opening matches of the Mariner Invitational… Coastal Georgia plays three matches on the opening day… Although this is the fifth time in the program’s eight years of hosting the Mariner Invitational, it is the first time Coastal Georgia has opened the season on its home court.
