Love of gym inspires coach

With contributions from members of the Georgia Division of Sons of Confederate Veterans, Glynn County’s local Thomas Marsh Foreman Camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans raised more than $670 to help fund furnishings for the new Veteran’s Lounge at the College of Coastal Georgia.

College Admissions Counselor Kimberly Burgess, who accepted the donation, related to SCV membership that the lounge at the college is maintained as a place for study, relaxation and comradery on campus exclusively for students who have served in the U.S. Military.
