On Friday, May 4, the College of Coastal Georgia continued its pre-finals tradition of a late-night breakfast. Members of the faculty and staff served students a 10 p.m. breakfast as the Mariner community came together to fuel up for some serious pre-finals studying.

Given the date of this year’s Spring late-night breakfast, the theme of the event was Star Wars, with faculty and staff sharing a greeting of “May the Fourth be with you!” with hungry students. Chewbacca himself made an appearance at the evenings festivities.

Faculty and Staff have their “lightsabers” at the ready to greet students with “May the Fourth be with you.”

The evening also included the induction of the new leadership of the Student Government Association (SGA). The new SGA president, vice president, and treasurer were sworn in to their new offices by Dean of Students Michael Butcher.

The evening was a celebration of the end of classes and another step forward towards the completion of our students’ degrees.
