Join Us for the 1st Annual Unity Day

Join us today for the 1st Annual Unity Day hosted by the College of Coastal Georgia’s Student Government Association. The mission of Unity Day is to bring the local and campus community together to Reflect, Challenge, and Celebrate. During Unity Day we will reflect on the history, past policies and new changes that have been made in our community and at the College; challenge the future at the College to promote a more diverse and inclusive community; and celebrate our unique backgrounds, cultures, and traditions.

Unity Day will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. starting outside of the Campus Center patio. There will be speeches, followed by a unity walk on campus, and a celebration outside of the Andrews building with food and educational booths.

“We have written a resolution to implement this day into Coastal’s future,” said SGA President Kelsey Rios, “and are so excited to share a monumental event with our College and community family.”
