Today the flags over the College of Coastal Georgia fly at half-mast to honor the lives lost in the senseless shooting that took place at a Sutherland Springs, Texas church on Sunday. Governor Nathan Deal issued an executive order on Monday directing that “the flag of the United States and the flag of the Great State of Georgia be flown at half-staff on all state buildings and grounds” until sunset on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017.

The College community joins with citizens across the state and around the nation in remembrance.
