College, USG to Celebrate Ethical Culture During Ethics Awareness Week

The University System of Georgia (USG) will once again celebrate its commitment to an ethical culture and shared values during Ethics Awareness Week, scheduled this year for November 6-12. The theme for the week is “Celebrating our Ethical Culture.”

The College of Coastal Georgia, along with the other 25 USG institutions, will host activities throughout the week to promote the shared core values of integrity, excellence, accountability, and respect.

The activities for Ethics Awareness Week are as follows:

Monday, November 6

•          Ethics Policy of the Day – sponsored by Human Resources

•          Daily Ethics Trivia Starts – sponsored by Business Affairs

•          Athletics Website Message – sponsored by Athletics

Tuesday, November 7

•          Daily Trivia

•          Ethics Policy of the Day

•          12:00-1:00 p.m. – Virtual Presentation: “The Color of Money: Uses & Limitations”    

Presented by Amanda Bibby, Associate Vice Chancellor Accounting & Reporting (USG), and Lisa Little, Executive Director Strategic Sourcing (USG)

•          2:00-3:00 p.m. – Panel Discussion: “The Ethics of AI Usage at Work” – sponsored by Academic Affairs with panelists Dr. Rob Bleil, Dr. Michael Butcher, and Dr. German Vargas in Stembler Theatre

Wednesday, November 8
