Popular Summer Day Camp for Elementary and Middle School Students

Brunswick, GA – Kids in College is returning this summer with a unique six-week program that will prove to be a fun and engaging learning experience for campers. Subject areas include leadership, STEM, and fine arts sessions; activities will not be duplicated in any subject area. Offered during June and July, the STEM and fine arts camps will serve students ages 8-10 and 11-13 with 30 spaces per session, 15 spaces allotted for each age group. Leadership camp will again be limited to 20 campers ages 10-13.

Camp Dates
Session One
June 8-12 – STEM 1
June 15-19 – Fine Arts 1
June 22-26 – Leadership 1 (Ages 10-13)

Session Two
July 6-10 – STEM 2  
July 13-17 – Fine Arts 2  
July 20-24 – Leadership 2 (Ages 10-13)

Camp Experience
The curriculum, developed by professional teachers, will give students the tools to make lasting connections to the fundamental skills and knowledge of each academic area. STEM camp lets students explore the diverse aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) without worrying about tests and grades. The fine arts camp will allow students to discover their artistic side through lessons devoted to photography, theatre, dance and music. The leadership camp will enhance student abilities to lead and work in a group environment. Activities will include tours of local governmental offices/facilities, guest speakers, athletics and the on-campus low ropes course to hone the skills and concepts of team building, commitment, hard work, dedication and social responsibility.

Morning classroom instruction will be followed by early afternoon field experiences which will include both on- and off-campus excursions. Late afternoon activities will be held in on-campus facilities.

Registration and Fees
Registration is online and first- come first-serve basis. The cost per session is $155 for early registration and $170 per session for the standard rate. Households with two or more registered campers will be eligible for a 10% discount off total camp fees as will campers registered in four (4) or more weeks.
