College of Coastal Georgia Announces 2018 Faculty Promotions

The College of Coastal Georgia’s Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce the awarding of tenure and/or promotion of 10 faculty members. Their new status will become effective at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year in August.

Congratulations to the faculty members who have been recognized for their hard work and commitment to providing Coastal Georgia students with academic instruction of the highest quality.


The following faculty were awarded tenure and promoted to associate professor:

Dr. Tate Holbrook – Assistant Professor to Associate Professor of Biology

Dr. Orsolya Kolozsvari – Assistant Professor to Associate Professor of Sociology

Dr. Charlsie Myers – Assistant Professor to Associate Professor of Psychology
