College forum examines tourism

Brunswick, GA – The Radiologic Science (RS) Program at the College of Coastal Georgia will hold an open house on Tuesday November 11, 2014 from noon-1 p.m. and 5-6 p.m. in Room 132 of the Nunnally Health and Science Building. This event is for prospective students and their families to learn more about the College’s Career Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Science.

Faculty members will be available to advise students for the Spring 2015 semester. Students are encouraged to take advantage of the early registration which is presently underway at CCGA. Students currently enrolled in Coastal Georgia’s two-year program will be on hand to answer questions and provide peer-to-peer assistance.

For the past 3 years, 95% of RS Program graduates have passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) national credentialing exam on their first attempt. According to the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) 2013 wage and salary survey, the average annual salary in the state of Georgia is $ 58,963.00.
