Coastal Georgia to Welcome Noted Literacy Expert

Brunswick, GA – College of Coastal Georgia President Gregory F. Aloia and alumnus and artist Gene Threats ’80 will be recognized by the Brunswick chapter of The Links, Inc. in a civic celebration honoring distinguished community service.  The celebration will be held at the Jekyll Island Convention Center on Saturday, February 28, at 7 p.m.

The Links, Inc., is an international non-profit service organization of women volunteers “linked in friendship” and committed to enhancing community life and to preserving and sustaining the cultural identity and economic well-being of African-Americans.
