The Lady Mariners added a signee to their 2017 recruiting class.

Class of 2017 guard Romny Felts joins the team from Shelbyville Central High School and the Tennessee Fight AAU team. Felts is AAU teammates with fellow signee Sydney Seagroves.

“One of our needs in this class was a physical wing player that could defend and get to the rim,” said head coach Roger Hodge. “Romny not only fits that description but also is a solid shooter that rebounds extremely well for a perimeter player. She has a unique combination of skills and plays as hard as anyone you will see.”

Felts is the fourth addition to the Mariners’ 2017 recruiting class.
