About the Center for the Arts

A masterpiece in the making, the Center for the Arts will significantly advance our community’s economic viability, intellectual capacity, and aesthetic appeal for generations. The Center will feature an auditorium for 1,000 guests, professional-level acoustics, and space to accommodate musical concerts, dance performances, lectures, meetings, and other community events.

The Center for the Arts enriches our campus and coastal communities by providing accessible, high-quality arts programming, performance experiences, and educational opportunities. We cultivate creativity, support regional artists, and foster meaningful cultural engagement for the Golden Isles and beyond.

The Center for the Arts’ vision is to become the premier arts destination in coastal Georgia; empowering artists, engaging audiences, and elevating the cultural life of the region through innovative programming, state-of-the-art facilities, and meaningful community partnerships.

The Center for the Arts is guided by these core values:

Creativity
We champion imagination, artistic freedom, and innovative expression in all its forms.

Access & Inclusion
We are committed to making the Arts welcoming, affordable, and accessible to everyone in the Golden Isles.

Collaboration
We believe that partnerships, across disciplines, within the College, and throughout the Golden Isles will strengthen our cultural impact.
