The concentration in Entrepreneurship focuses on the entrepreneurial process. Many students are interested in starting their own business. This concentration has as its goal the creation of a business plan that a student can implement upon graduation, if not sooner.

Why study Entrepreneurship at Coastal Georgia?

This concentration is unique in the University System of Georgia. An important part of the program is that students get to work with a mentor from the retirement community living in the Golden Isles of Georgia.

What will I learn?

You will learn about the process of building a business plan.

What can I do when I graduate?

The goal of the Entrepreneurship concentration is to have students build a business plan that can be implemented upon graduation.

    Dr. Mounts’ area of teaching is economics. His area of research includes monetary theory and history, econometrics, and entrepreneurship.
