College Joins USG in Celebrating Ethics Awareness Week Nov. 3-9

The College of Coastal Georgia is proud to participate in the University System of Georgia’s (USG) annual Ethics Awareness Week, taking place November 3-9. The system-wide initiative underscores USG’s commitment to fostering a culture rooted in integrity, excellence, accountability, and respect across its 26 institutions.

This year’s theme, “Spirit of USG,” highlights the importance of ethical behavior in higher education and public service. Throughout the week, Coastal Georgia will host a variety of activities to promote an ethical culture, shared ethical values, and expectations

The activities for Ethics Awareness Week at the College are as follows:

Ethics Policy of the Day – shared by the Office of Human Resources

Ethics Trivia with giveaways – sponsored by the Office of Business Affairs

Athletic Statement – shared by Coastal Georgia Athletics

• USG Chancellor’s Event: Leading with Integrity in a Complex World with keynote speaker Jimmy Blanchard, retired chairman and CEO of Synovus, and vice chairman of Covey Equity, starting at 1 p.m.
