Each team’s placement within the top 10% reflects the College’s growing reputation for excellence in cybersecurity education and hands-on training.

The NCL competition challenges students with real-world scenarios in cryptography, network traffic analysis, password cracking, and more—preparing them for careers in cyber defense and information security.

Dr. Nelbert St. Clair, associate professor of cyber defense and faculty mentor for the teams, praised the students’ achievements.

“These results are a testament to the talent and tenacity of our students,” St. Clair said. “They’ve shown that with the right guidance and a strong work ethic, even a small college like Coastal Georgia can compete with the best in the nation. I couldn’t be prouder of their performance.”
