Rising Tides Scholarship

The purpose of the Mariners Volleyball Alumni Scholarship is for the College of Coastal Georgia Volleyball Alumni to support the current development of the Mariners Volleyball Program. The College of Coastal Georgia understands that we can only be stronger and develop as a program with the help of our alumni. We are asking the College of Coastal Georgia Volleyball Alumni to give back to the program that they went through to support the current student-athletes and the team’s continued success.

After being ranked 5th in the Sun Conference, the 2021 Volleyball team made a run all the way to the Conference Championship Match. In the process, they beat a RV team twice, and beat three teams that qualified for the National Tournament. The Mariners finished with a 24-8 record, and are only graduating one senior. If the team could have had this much success on their own, imagine what they can do with the support of their alumni base in the form of another scholarship for the team!

The Mariners Volleyball Alumni Scholarship will be awarded to a Volleyball student-athlete at the College of Coastal Georgia who embodies the Athletic Department’s S.A.I.L.S. motto (Scholarship, Athletic Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, and Sportsmanship), as well as maintain a 3.0 GPA.
