Coastal Georgia has a longstanding history of great academic and athletic programs, as well as a commitment to excellence both on and off the court. With growing support from alumni, parents, and the surrounding community, we look to have continued growth and success for years to come.
As you may know, the 2021-2022 basketball season is underway, and this year, we are truly excited to introduce the new Mariners Women’s Basketball Team. The players have been working hard to lay down a new foundation and to continue building a winning tradition here at Coastal Georgia.
In order to ensure a successful season, we’ll need your assistance with this year’s fundraiser. Our team is scheduled to compete in the University of the Cumberlands Patriot Classic in Williamsburg, Kentucky on Nov. 5-6. We will travel on Nov. 4. We are seeking donations to help aid in the travel expenses. Funds raised will go towards transportation, pre-game and post-game meals, and hotel costs. We have set a team fundraising goal of $5,000. It is the hope of the team and the staff that the expected cost of the trip will be alleviated through donated funds.
