What does it mean to be a Mariner? We think the truest Mariners are those individuals that are not afraid to chart their own course and who are driven by the excitement that comes with discovery. At the College of Coastal Georgia we give our students the tools needed for success like small classroom size, access to knowledgeable professors and tutors and the ability to be actively involved in campus activities that truly make a difference. All of this is set in the beautiful Golden Isles on the Atlantic Coast, which we think is a perfect place to set sail.
At CCGA we offer 19 Bachelor’s degrees with 43 programs of study, four Career Associate degrees and 26 Associate programs of study for transfer. Our 3,600 students enjoy participating in over 50 clubs and organizations on our 193-acre campus and the short 15 minute drive to St. Simons Island to take advantage of the beach.
Meet some of our Mariners
Chris Campbell-Class of 2018
“College of Coastal Georgia was located in an ideal spot—far enough where he can experience something different but not too far away from home. I found a place where he could live up to my maximum potential.”

Ada Ramirez- Class of 2018
“Coastal Georgia offers a lot of student positions and they work with you so much when it comes to your school schedule. They encouraged me to always put my schoolwork first. That's why I loved it so much. Everyone makes sure that you do well and that you prosper."
