College of Coastal Georgia School of Business and Public Management 2016 graduate, Kerdansky Besson works as a Strategic Account Analyst at Availity in Jacksonville, Florida. In his time at Coastal Georgia, Besson served as a Career Services Student Ambassador and Rotaract Club President.

When asked what made the largest impact on his life from college to the professional realm, he responded, “The biggest lesson that I gained during my time at CCGA was realizing that every single situation was simply a building block for individual growth. For example, have you ever been in a group project with people you may not agree with or even like? That is a challenge that translates into real life where you need to learn how to work with difficult people while still being responsible to find a way to accomplish the overall team goal. Another example: do you hate early morning classes? Let’s be honest.. we all do. However, if you are disciplined enough to learn how to get things done early in your day then you will have time to accomplish other goals later in that same day. That translates into the real world where your employer requires you to attend early morning meetings or even just prioritizing a balanced work schedule that allows you to get tasks done earlier than later. These are just a couple of examples out of the million lessons that I learned during my time at CCGA. In my opinion, college is not just about getting a piece of paper with your name on it, but the profound journey you take on in order to challenge yourself for individual growth.”
