Transfer Students: After Acceptance
You have the opportunity to be advised prior to orientation and receive an approved schedule that will provide you quicker access to registration at orientation. In some cases, your advisor can register you for critical courses that are needed for your degree program before attending orientation to ensure you will get the classes.
Contact one of the department coordinators or visit the Center for Academic Advising located on the first floor of Academic Commons South or call 912.279.5769 to get registered for classes.
Financial aid does not transfer from one school to another. You must cancel aid at your current school and re-apply for aid at College of Coastal Georgia. You can check the status of your financial aid online through your My.CCGA Portal and COAST account. To speak to a financial aid counselor, please call 912-279-5722.

Residence Life and Housing
Transfer students should apply for housing immediately after acceptance. Residence Life and Housing at College of Coastal Georgia consists of two housing options. Each of these living environments provides recreational lounges, study rooms, laundry, vending, and mailrooms. These options offer convenience in proximity, cost, and connection to campus.
Lakeside Village and Mariner Village provide the traditional college living experience for primarily our incoming freshmen. Located on campus, Lakeside Village and Mariner Village are your home away from home during your first year at CCGA.
Coastal Place Apartments, our newly acquired residence hall, offers a unique living experience as our off-campus residential apartments. Located only a 10 minute drive from main campus, Coastal Place Apartments is the housing option for our non-freshmen students.
