Specialized Software

Description:

While not provided on every computer like Microsoft Office, access to less common and more specialized software may be obtained by following the individual instructions provided below. Please note not all software will be available to every Faculty member, Staff member, or Student.

Adobe Creative Cloud

A collection desktop apps for photography, design, video, web, UX and more. Limited availability to Faculty and Staff upon request. For access please submit a ticket through the helpdesk. The Suite is also available to Students through the Library lab computers. Students must create a free personal Adobe account in order to use the software. Adobe also offers a limited trial to download and install the software on personal devices.

Qualtrics

Qualtrics is a web-based survey software that is easy to use while at the same time providing sophisticated survey techniques such as branching, conditions, etc. Qualtrics is available for current, faculty, staff and students that meet the eligibility criteria. SPSS

SPSS Statistics is a powerful statistical software platform. Current students can download SPSS on their personal devices for a period of 1 year. To obtain an SPSS license, please submit a helpdesk ticket here.

STELLA

(Systems Thinking for Education and Research; from isee Systems) is a modeling software package that diagrams, charts, and uses animation help visual learners discover relationships between variables and helps simplify model building. This software is available on select computers in the campus Library.
