About: Dr. Kolozsvari's research and teaching interests include gender, families, regional and ethnic identities, long-distance relationships, immigration, culture and cognition. Her textbook, Gender, Marriage, and Families: From the Individual to the Social has been published by Kendall Hunt. She has published peer-reviewed articles in various sociology journals, such as Qualitative Sociology Review, The Journal of Public and Professional Sociology, Sociation Today.
Courses regularly taught: Intro to Sociology, Sociology of Gender, Sociology of Deviance, Social Stratification, Self and Social Existence. She has taught courses in the American Studies program as well.
