RespondusRespondus LockDown Browser (RLB) is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment to deter cheating in D2L. When RLB is turned on, students are unable to copy, print, access other applications, or visit a website while taking an online quiz or exam. LockDown Browser is a client application that is installed to a local computer. Therefore, RLB does not work on a Chromebook.
Review the handout and video for directions for installing Respondus.
Seeing this message? LockDown Browser shouldn't be started manually.
Using a Chromebook? You are out of luck. See this article for details. Remember, RLB is installed on all the computers in the library.
