Fifth-Year Interim Report

The College successfully completed its Fifth-Year Interim Review that included an Impact Report for Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) and an abbreviated Compliance Certification. The Impact Report provided evidence of student learning within the Service-Learning program, while the Compliance Certification addressed specific SACSCOC Principles of Accreditation. The Fifth-Year Interim Report was developed by SACSCOC to respond to the U.S. Department of Education's requirements that accrediting bodies continuously monitor institutions to ensure compliance.

The Fifth-Year Interim Report is divided into four primary sections:

Part I: Signatures Attesting to Integrity. Requests that the chief executive officer and accreditation liaison attest to the accuracy of institutional assessment and documentation supporting that assessment.

Part II: Institutional Summary Form Prepared for Commission Reviews. Requests that the institution complete the "Institutional Summary Form Prepared for Commission Reviews."

Part III: Fifth-Year Compliance Certification. Monitors continued compliance with identified Core Requirements, Comprehensive Standards, and Federal Requirements at the decennial interval.

Part IV: Impact Report of the Quality Enhancement Plan. Provides an institution with the opportunity to address -- through a systematic, sustained, institution-wide effort -- a key student learning issue fundamental to the institution's mission.
