Faculty-led Study Abroad Programs

The Office of International Education serves as a College-wide resource for the access, administration, development, implementation, and oversight of College of Coastal Georgia study abroad programming. Faculty-led study abroad programs are short-term either within a given semester or during a school break (e.g., Maymester), which involve a student receiving academic credit for a course. The new program development and approval process is designed to promote and maintain the integrity of CCGA study abroad programming and modeled on the recommendations of the The Forum on Education Abroad Standards of Good Practice for Short-Term Education Abroad Programs. The Office of International Education is available to provide the support necessary in the development and preparation of the form, as well as the future implementation of the proposed program. Please contact Dr. James (Jim) Lynch in the Office of International Education for additional information and planning advice.
