Strategic PlanningThe College of Coastal Georgia’s new strategic plan sets overarching institutional goals, objectives, and action strategies, along with a series of key performance indicators (KPIs), to create a new strategic plan, Coastal Vision 2021.
The Strategic Planning Committee, working in unison with faculty, staff, students, and community members, engaged in a 17-month strategic planning process that re-envisioned the College’s mission, reevaluated its strategic priorities, crafted a new institutional strategic plan, and ensured alignment of the plan with University System of Georgia and Complete College Georgia strategic directives.
The most recent College of Coastal Georgia Strategic Plan that concluded in 2015 served the College well as a robust guide in establishing strategic direction and priorities. However, significant changes in our environment over the course of the last few years made clear the need to embark on a new strategic planning process (strategic – structural – sustainable) with greater emphasis on accountability, transparency and institutional planning.
