The College of Coastal Georgia boasts over 200 student employees in nearly every department across campus. The Student Employment Initiative is facilitated by the Office of Career Development, which includes assistance to:
- Student Employment Onboarding
or SEO, which is the one-time employment orientation for all new student hires (upcoming sessions)
- Professional Development Opportunities
such as those in Mariner Leadership Academy
Managers of Student Employees
- Student Employment Manager meetings
which meet twice each semester and includes 53 campus managers
- Student Employment Committee
which meets as needed to discuss topics related to potential change for the initiative and currently has 14 members (faculty/staff may click here to join)
The Office of Career Development collaborates with Human Resources as well as Financial Aid, serving as an intermediary for hiring managers, students employees and departments.
Students Seeking On-Campus Employment
Advertisement of all student employment opportunities is through Coastal CareerLink, CCGA's online job database offered by the Office of Career Development. Student employment opportunities include both Student Assistantships as well as Work-Study opportunities and all student employment positions max out at 19.5 hours per week. Additional requirements, such as GPA or minimum number of enrolled credit hours, are listed on the individual announcement.
Each fall and spring semesters, there is an On-Campus Job Fair. Check out the campus calendar for exact dates and times.
