Board of Regents Announces National Search for President of College of Coastal Georgia

Today, Board of Regents Chairman C. Thomas Hopkins Jr., M.D. and Chancellor Steve Wrigley announced plans to launch a national search for the next president of the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, Georgia. "We owe a big thank you to Interim President Meg Amstutz for her support and commitment to the College of Coastal Georgia and the University System of Georgia," said Hopkins. A campus-based presidential search committee will include thoughtful representation from faculty, staff and students.

Georgia Power Donates $25,000 to Fund STEM Initiatives at the College of Coastal Georgia

Today, the state's largest power company, Georgia Power, presented a check for $25,000 to the College of Coastal Georgia Foundation to fund the Georgia Power STEM Impact Program at the College. The new multi-faceted, broad-based impact program will fund equipment, programing, and facilities for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) instruction.

Faculty Members' Work Featured at Art Exhibition

The College of Coastal Georgia's own Jeff LeMieux and Kevin Pullen will be featured in a month-long art exhibit at the Soglo Gallery in Brunswick. LeMieux, associate professor of Art, will present a retrospective of his paintings. Sculptures from Pullen, artist in residence and a lecturer in art at the College, will also be on display.
