A former student is anyone returning to the institution after at least one calendar year, or those who are updating their enrollment information.

If you previously attended the College of Coastal Georgia as a degree-seeking student, you must submit a re-admission application through the Admissions Office. If you have applied to the College within the last year, please follow the steps below to change your admissions term.

  1. Select the semester you plan to attend from the available options below.
  2. Once a semester is selected, you will be prompted to complete the Change of Term Application.
  3. Submit your application. (No fee required).

If you have attended any other college or earned college credit since last applying to the College of Coastal Georgia, please submit your transcripts. All application materials should be mailed to: Office of Admissions, One College Drive, Brunswick, GA 31520.

Returning Students – No other colleges attended
  • Students who are seeking to return to the College of Coastal Georgia after an absence of 12 months or longer, or who are seeking to return after academic suspension, must complete the readmissions process.
  • Complete a Change of Term form here.
Returning Students – Attended other institution after Coastal Georgia
  • If you have attended school elsewhere since the last time you applied to the College, please submit official transcripts from all colleges you attended after leaving Coastal Georgia, to the Office of Admissions.

Academic Review and Appeal Process
  • Students returning from academic probation or suspension must submit an appeal before they can be reviewed for admission.
  • If will take three to five business days to review and process.
  • Admissions Appeal Letters should address what happened when you were previously enrolled to make you unsuccessful, and what has changed to make you more successful.
  • Admissions Appeal Letters should be emailed to admiss@ccga.edu.
