Yes. In order to ensure the safety of our student population, all residential students must evacuate the Brunswick campus and Camden Center by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7. At. this time, all resident halls and campus dining facilities will be closed. Detailed instructions for students being evacuated are being sent to all residential students through text messaging, email, web communications, social media, and the direct guidance of Resident Assistants and Residence Hall Directors.
Where are evacuated students going?
Residential students are being urged to make their own travel arrangements and to relocate to the homes of family or friends in safe areas outside of the hurricane’s path.
What about residential students without a place to go?
The College is providing transportation to another institution in the University System of Georgia for residential in need of alternate housing. Students will be notified of their respective housing locations in advance of departure from the College.
