Freshman Requirements


Traditional Freshman Admission Pathway Requirements

1. APPLICATION

Complete the admissions application and submit the $25 non-refundable, one-time application fee.

2. TRANSCRIPTS

Traditional freshmen are required to earn an academic GPA of a 2.0 or higher to be considered for admission. Students should request that their high school send an official copy of all high school work completed to the Office of Admissions. Upon graduation, applicants must submit a final, official transcript including their date of graduation.

3. TEST SCORES

Official ACT or SAT test scores must be sent to the Office of Admissions directly from CollegeBoard.org or ACT.org or from the student's high school.

To be considered for the Traditional Freshman Admission Pathway, students must earn minimum SAT scores of 350 Critical Reading and 350 Math or minimum ACT scores of 14 English and 14 Math.

SAT scores of 430 Critical Reading and 400 Math or ACT scores of 17 English and 17 Math will exempt students from Foundation and Co-requisite support course requirements.

Accelerated Admission Pathway Requirements

Students applying for the Accelerated Admissions Pathway are required to earn an academic GPA of a 3.0 or higher to be considered for admission. Freshmen should request that their high school send an official copy of all high school work completed to the Office of Admissions. Upon graduation, applicants must submit a final, official transcript including their date of graduation.

3. TEST SCORES

Official ACT or SAT test scores must be sent to the Office of Admissions directly from CollegeBoard.org or ACT.org or from the student's high school.

Students who do not take the national SAT or ACT will be required to take CCGA’s institutional SAT before the start of their first semester.
