ARGOS - Data Reporting
In an effort to more effectively manage institutional research data requests without having to reduce the time needed to address other critical institutional effectiveness components such as strategic planning, accreditation, and assessment, the College acquired an off-the-shelf enterprise web-based reporting solution, ARGOS.
Data Cookbook - Data Definitions
The College deployed the Data Cookbook, a data definition tool that stores and manages technical and functional information, at the same time ARGOS was unveiled to the campus. The Data Cookbook is improving the quality of institutional reporting by building a centralized repository of the College's terminology that is vetted and approved by designated data stewards.
Tableau - Data VisualizationValuable information is being stored in the College's growing data repositories and data visualization software is used to clearly convey that information using images, providing opportunities for understanding that data and for data-informed decision-making. To address this need, the College utilizes Tableau, a data visualization platform that helps promote understanding of data sets and communicates important concepts and ideas.
