Academic AffairsThe College of Coastal Georgia offers challenging academic programs that lead to bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Biological Sciences, Education, Health Informatics, Mathematics, Nursing and Psychology. As a point of access to the University System of Georgia, the college also offers pre-baccalaureate associate degrees for transfer and career associate degrees. The College's academic area is organized into four schools and seven departments for instructional and administrative purposes. Each school or department is responsible for advising students who are pursuing degrees within its jurisdiction. Whether you are just beginning your college experience or have declared a major, you will find a dedicated faculty eager to assist you in realizing your academic goals. Additionally, there are many opportunities for you to experience the arts, humanities and sciences outside the classroom through campus activities, cultural events, and organizations.
While the provisions of the college catalog will ordinarily be applied as stated, the College of Coastal Georgia reserves the right to change any provision listed in the college catalog, including but not limited to academic requirements for graduation, without actual notice to individual students.
