Technical Certificates of Credit
For the very quickest way into the job market or upgrading skills, there are several "technical certificates of credit" (TCCs) available that focus on specific jobs or sets of job skills. These programs range from 10 to 28 semester credit hours and can be completed in less than one year. While they are not intended for transfer, TCCs do fit within Georgia's model of "career ladder" programs. This model is structured in such a way that students can earn a technical certificate - even while still in high school - and then proceed to earn a diploma or degree as their time and goals allow. That's because credits in most TCCs are transferable into diploma programs.
