Wireless Configuration for Windows Vista
- Click the Start button and select Connect To from the menu.
The Connect to a Network dialog box is displayed.
- Click Open Network and Sharing Center at the bottom left.

- The Network and Sharing Center dialog box is displayed.
Click Manage wireless networks on the menu at the top left.
- The Manage wireless networks dialog is displayed.
Click the Add button.
- Select Manually create a network profile.
- Enter WAVE (in uppercase) for the Network Name:.
Select WPA2-Enterprise for Security type:.
Select AES for Encryption type:
Click the Next button
- Click the Close to return you to the Manage wireless networks dialog.
- Double-click the Computer icon just to the left of your new network (WAVE).
The WAVE Wireless Network properties dialog will be displayed.
- Select the Security tab.
Make sure that WPA2-Enterprise is selected for Security type:
and AES is selected for Encryption type:.
Select Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP) for Choose a network authentication method:.
Click the Settings... button. The Protected EAP Properties dialog will be displayed.
- Check Validate server certificate and
Connect to these servers:.
Enter ccgadns2.ccga.edu in the textbox.
At the bottom of the dialog select Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP V2) for the Authentication Method.
Click the Configure... button and the EAP MSCAHPv2 Properties dialog will be shown.
- Uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any).
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
- You should see a notification in the system tray after a few seconds telling you that your wireless network card
is trying to connect to the network. If you are not prompted for your username and password, click the ballon just above
the system tray to receive your login dialog.
- Enter your Student Id, password (the same as your email username and password) and College of Coastal Georgia. Click the OK button.
- Open your browser. You should be on the wireless network.
