Rich Products president named volunteer of the year

Jack C. Kilgore, president of the Consumer Brands Division of Rich Products Corporation, was recently honored with the United Way of Coastal Georgia's highest accolade, the 2014 Glynn County Volunteer of the Year award.

Kilgore has worked in the Golden Isles community for more than 35 years as a leader within Rich's, one of the world's largest family-owned food companies and a leading global supplier to the foodservice, in-store bakery, retail and industrial marketplaces. He currently is co-leader of Rich's U.S./Canada Region, with primary responsibility for the Consumer Brands Division, Canada Division, and the company's global Quality Assurance/Regulatory Compliance function.

He is a current board member and past chairman of Communities in Schools of Glynn County and he co-chairs the Graduation Blueprint Implementation Commission for United Way.

He is on the board of trustees of the College of Coastal Georgia Foundation and serves on the board of directors for South Coast Bank & Trust of Glynn County. He was also recently named to the board of directors for the St. Simons Island Land Trust.
