Brunswick, GA – The Presidential Search Committee and consulting agency of Greenwood/Asher and Associates, Inc., will host a public forum to receive input from the community concerning characteristics that should be embodied in the next President of the College of Coastal Georgia.
The forum will be held Friday morning, January 18, in the Southeast Georgia Conference Center on campus. The public is invited to comment from 8-8:45 a.m. Students, staff and faculty will also have the opportunity to participate as the morning progresses.
The 12-member Presidential Search and Screen Committee, which includes representatives of the Alumni Association, the College Foundation, a former University System of Georgia regent and community leader, College faculty, staff and students, was appointed by University System of Georgia Chancellor Hank Huckaby in November following the announcement by Dr. Valerie A. Hepburn, President of the College, of her plans to step down at the end of May 2013.
