College of Coastal Georgia Fitness & Wellness Center

Welcome!

Welcome to College of Coastal Georgia's Fitness & Wellness Center home page. Designed with Coastal Georgia's students and staff in mind, the Fitness Center will help enhance livelihood and allow users to achieve the highest level of health possible in each of these five dimensions: physical, social, emotional, mental, spiritual and environmental.

The mission of the Fitness & Wellness Center is to improve the health and wellbeing of everyone in the Coastal Georgia Community and to promote an environment that will encourage the lifelong practice of health and fitness for all.

The Fitness Center has cardio machines and free weights as well as machines by Cybex, Nautilus and Strive. The variety of machines will offer users several options while working out, and by adjusting the intensity and resistance you can achieve desired changes in your body. Fitness Classes are also available throughout the week in multiple disciplines.

The Fitness Center staff is available to perform new user orientations, which are designed to familiarize you with the equipment, teach proper form and technique so each Fitness Center experience will prove successful. Fitness testing is also available so users can track their fitness levels. Please feel free to ask the staff about this assessment.

The Fitness Center is free for all students with a valid CCGA ID and is $50 per semester for CCGA faculty and staff, payable at the business office on Main Campus. All users must sign a waiver every year and new users must be orientated by a member of the Fitness Center Staff.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jaime Parker-Lewis, Director of Campus Center and Student Life at 279-5812 or jlewis@ccga.edu.
