College of Coastal Georgia, University System of Georgia

What Your Contribution Does

The College of Coastal Georgia begins offering new baccalaureate degrees in business, nursing, and elementary and middle grades education in fall 2009. The need to raise funds to support these programs and to expand student enrollment is critical.

Additional scholarships are essential. The average student cost for tuition and fees per semester is $1,250. Expenses such as textbooks, child care and transportation are often financial barriers to those who aspire to attend the College of Coastal Georgia.  Annually, 500 deserving students apply for Foundation scholarships. Only 200 recipients are funded. Building the scholarship fund will support more students.

Modern infrastructure and technology are essential to the learning environment.  Your contribution will assure a 21st century learning experience for our students.

Those Who Made a Difference Last Year

Gifts to the Annual Giving Campaign are viewed as a measure of alumni, faculty and staff participation. This enables the College to secure grants from corporations and foundations.

Support for the College of Coastal Georgia comes from many quarters. The Foundation provided $335,000.00 for student scholarships in 2008. We need your continued support to help more deserving students.
