William F. Torrey, Jr. graduated with a Bachelor's of Science from Cornell University and received his Master's from Duke University. Mr. Torrey was the Wood Procurement Manager for Brunswick Pulp and Paper Co., and President of Canal Chip Corp. Mr. Torrey's civic work includes President/Chairman: Georgia Forestry Assn., Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia, Ossabaw Inc., Founding board member and Vice- Chairman – Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority, and Ducks Unlimited Georgia State Chairman and Board member Ducks Unlimited Inc. Mr. Torrey is Married to Marta B. Torrey, they have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.
