Jack A. Dinos
Jack A. Dinos is the retired CEO of Southern Tea Company. He attended the University of Georgia's Atlanta Division, receiving a BBA Degree in Marketing and was a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity and a founding member of Pi Sigma Epsilon Professional Sales Fraternity. Upon graduation, he was commissioned and served in the U.S. Navy. After completing military service, Mr. Dinos joined his family's coffee and tea business in Atlanta, becoming its CEO in 1958, a position he held until the company's sale in 1990.
He has served as a Trustee of Kennesaw State University's Foundation, endowed two Eminent Scholar Chairs at its Coles College of Business Administration, and helped start its Family Enterprise Center. Twice named an honoree of Kennesaw State's Beta Gama Sigma business fraternity, the Board of Regents and Kennesaw State University conferred him an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.
An active supporter of the University of Georgia, Mr. Dinos served on its Athletic Development Council and endowed scholarships in men's and women's golf. He and his wife, Mary, have endowed an educational scholarship at the College of Coastal Georgia.
Mr. Dinos is an Emeritus Director of the Communities of Coastal Georgia Foundation, a Director of the Hospice of the Golden Isles and Chairman of the Hospice Foundation. He is a member of the Sea Island Club and the Ocean Forest Golf Club.
