Emily Davenport is President and Chief Operations Officer of Coastal NurseCare, Inc. and Coastal Addiction Counseling. She also serves as President of Coastal NurseCare of Florida, Inc.
She continues to fulfill multiple volunteer roles in our community. Mrs. Davenport's past volunteer activities include the Boy Scouts of America, Board of Directors of the Brunswick YWCA, two years of which she served as President. She has served on the YWCA Capital Campaign Committee, Annual Giving Committee, and held a seat on the YWCA Foundation from 1990-2000. She was co-chair of the Y's Diamond Jubilee.
She has served on the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society, is a charter member and served a two-term presidency of the Victory Board of the Cancer Society, and has co-chaired the Gala Benefit.
Mrs. Davenport was a 1987 nominee for the Brunswick Women's Club Young Woman of the Year. She served as an Editorial Consultant for Veranda Magazine from 1990 to 1995. In 1999 she was honored at the YWCA's Tribute to Women Leaders, was the honorary co-chair of the Tribute in 2003, and has served on the Tribute's Steering Committee and the Y's Chairman's Council.
Mrs. Davenport graduated from Westminster Boarding School in Atlanta. She earned her BSED from the University of Georgia. She is married to Lee F. Davenport and has two sons and two grandchildren.
