David T. Smith, Jr. was the Plant Manager of Hercules' Brunswick Plant from 1992 until he retired in 1999. Mr. Smith's involvement includes several non-profit service groups within the community: Past President of the Brunswick Rotary Club, Past Assistant Governor of Rotary District 6920, Past President of Habitat for Humanity for Glynn County , and past Board Member of the Okefenoke Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Currently, Mr. Smith is a member of the Coastal Bank Board of Directors, President of the Golden Isles Georgia Tech Club and Board Member of Communities-in-Schools. Mr. Smith has been married to his wife Barbra for 45 years. They have three children: a daughter, Alicia, and two sons David III and Kenneth.
