Brian R. Parks is the President & CEO of SunTrust Bank, Southeast Georgia, a position he has held for nearly two years. Mr. Parks has been with SunTrust since 1998 and has been in banking for almost 18 years. He is a native of Darien Georgia and is a graduate of Glynn Academy. He received his BBA from Mercer University and is a Graduate of LSU Banking School. Mr. Parks is currently the Chairman of the Board of Coastal Medical Access Project, Member of the Board of Trustees and Financial Committee of Frederica Academy, Member of the YWCA Foundation Board, Member of the Rotary Club of Brunswick, a Member of St. William Catholic Church, and actively involved as a USA Swimming Official. Mr. Parks was formerly on the Board's of the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Coastal Georgia. Mr. Parks is married to Karen and they have 3 children.
