Dreams into Action The College of Coastal Georgia Foundation offers a way to thank and
recognize those who have provided extraordinary service to education through its Distinguished Service Awards.

The Alumni of the Year Award
The Alumni of the Year award was established in 2011 to recognize an alumni of the College who demonstrates leadership and dedication in advocating for, and supporting, the College. The inaugural recipient, Glenn Thomas Carson, was instrumental in establishing the Alumni Association in 2011.
Award was first established in 2009 and is presented annually to a business for extraordinary service to education and support to the College of Coastal Georgia. Recipients are those who demonstrate vision and support, for an even better College of Coastal Georgia.

Award will be presented to a member of the College of Coastal Georgia family who in the past year has had an outstanding impact on a volunteer effort in a College connected program. Recipients will exemplify team spirit and unflagging support of the College.

The Public Service Award was first established in 2009 and is presented annually to honor individuals who make outstanding contributions and whose accomplishments can be viewed as models of public service within and outside the College of Coastal Georgia.

The Internship Program Director of the Year Award was first established in 2009 and is presented annually to an individual, business, or organization for engaging College of Coastal Georgia students in preparation for future careers while actively contributing to the development and implementation of work related projects and problem solving.
